We are a little over a third of the way through 2021 and we figured it was a good time to stop and take stock of the year past and the year to come. The annual madness of the Run The Year launch is in the rearview mirror and we are so excited to look ahead!

For Run The Edge, as for the rest of the world, 2020 looked much different than we had expected. We were faced with new challenges, a brand new work dynamic, and a whole new way of life that we could never have seen coming. In the midst of it all, we managed to add two more rockstar members to the RTE Team! We began 2021 having adapted to these new circumstances, and are cautiously optimistic about what the future holds. 

First of all, we would like to thank each and every one of you for a very successful Run The Year 2021 launch. This marks the seventh year of this challenge, and we literally could not do what we do without your participation! We are so excited about all of the amazing teams and individuals tackling this impressive distance, and we want to congratulate all of you on your progress so far! Even if you don’t find yourself where you had intended to be at this point in your journey, you are still accomplishing incredible things. The year is young and you have plenty of time to adjust! 

Looking forward, we have so much in store for you in 2021. As many of you know, we have just concluded our first Streaker Challenge of the year, the Hollywood Streaker, and we are so proud of all of you who streaked your hearts out! We are also diligently working to bring you a completely new type of challenge this year. We know a lot of you were with us for The UnCanceled project in the spring of 2020, and we can tell you that that challenge serves as the jumping off point for our new one, The FitLife Project! Stay tuned for more updates as the year progresses.

For now, we are all eagerly awaiting a return to some semblance of normalcy before the end of the year. While we have become very adept at operating from home, we definitely miss all being together in the same office. No matter what, we will be here to continue to support and inspire you as much as you have supported and inspired us. That’s all for now!
