What are the RTE Virtual Events?

Brand New2026 This marks our second year of hosting quarterly one-day virtual events, designed to give you a clear goal every three months to work toward and stay motivated throughout the year.

Race Day You will Run, Walk, Step, Move from your own location on a specific day during a specific time frame. 

All Fitness We have categories for everyone, whether you’re competitive and want to see how your time or miles measure up or if you just want to say you did it, we will have a challenge category for you.

How It Works

1. Register Online

Sign up for your virtual event and commit to completing the miles your way!

2. Gear Up + Training

Grab one of our Level Up Training Plans- our training programs will get you across the finish line with confidence! Choose your favorite running or walking outfit and prepare to take on the challenge.

3. Track Your Miles

Track your time your own way and complete your distance during the event time on event day-uniquely your way and no matter your location!

4. Share Your Journey

Submit your time to update the live event leaderboard! Post photos, and stories on social media using the hashtag#RuntheEdge to inspire and connect with others in the community.

You choose!  Each event has three challenge categories:  Competitive, Accomplished, and Just for Fun.  The competitive leaderboard is ranked by time.  Accomplished has times but no ranking.  Just for fun has no times at all, just an "I did it!" column.

There are many ways to get a free event registration. 

  • You may have purchased a package with a promo registration.
  • Every Kitchen Sink package purchase earns two free registrations for the registrant.
  • Every Momentum and Essentials package earns one free registration for the registrant.

Free registrations can be used for any of the four events.  You should have received a registration code if you purchased one of the three packages above.  If you did not, please email us with your order number at info@runtheedge.co

Although, the events are virtual, they are still live events.  You need to be able to complete the event during the event time frame.

Yes!  We will also have a teams leaderboard.  Each individual on the team must have their own registration, but the team leader may post the total time for their team.

Yes!  RTE loves to include kids, especially this year as we launched our first Kids Run & Fun package.  Please be sure that all kids who participate are under adult supervision.
