As much as we would love to share the sweat, we aren't quite at that point yet! In 2021 we still have to be a little careful about hugging, even among runners. This year we have come up with a few alternatives to hugging that can still spread positivity, humor, and joy among the running community, and don't even require you to break stride!
Having someone by your side while you're pushing your limits makes the time go by quickly and brings a whole lot more fun to the situation. It's so much easier to start a long hike when you can strike up a conversation with a friend that passes the time and distance. Now is a great time to start feeling better physically and if you happen to stay connected with family and friends, it's just a bonus.
